hi guys just fitted healtech gipro gear postion indicator to 08 tuono , works fine quite easy to fit no more searching for 7th gear or not knowing ur only in 5th doh , also did quick action throttle mod cost £10 for bits and took 30mins to do hey it actually works to :thumbup

I would be interested in one of these, had a quick look on the site, could not find a specific indicator listed for Tuono, which one have you used and was it plug and play or did you have to cutin to loom?

hi,no they don,t do a plug n play for the tuono so had to use the universal kit which does mean you have to splice 4 wires . rather than cut the main loom i cut into the speed senser from rear wheel and the rear brake switch wire for the live ,you can find both these leads in the rubber gaitor tucked in above the clutch cover .you also need to splice into the crankshaft senser which is on the left crankcase above clutch slave cylinder , trace the wire from there .its easy to splice into it by liftin tank the wire has loads of slack so is easy to work on .i will post which colour wires to connect not sure without checking .i new i should have taken photo,s ! doh . works well though and was easy to set up .about 1 second delay between gear position display .unit is vary small and really bright .i used the healtech gi pro xtype model .will try n post pics but not to clever on computers .mine cost £70 at bike show usally go for 90 i think . regards lee
