Cornwall
Hi Guys ,Griff was down at my place in Cornwall for 4 days this week,& he worked his butt off, finished the 1st full service with fork seals at 1:30 in the morning!!!. Then my mates falco,Garins tuono valve check & TB setup,my mille suspension & tbs,Chris's factory service & forks,& that includes collecting & delivering from 65miles away! This guy is the real deal & his prices are nothing like a dealership! This is a personal service that is second to none and he keeps tweeking until you're 100% happy with the set-up - I overheard a couple of the guys say their bikes were 100 times better once he'd sorted them. Also his rearsets are awesome, made my Harris one's look stupid!
Come on boys, get together with your mates to make his trip worthwhile, give Griff a call, have laugh & get your bike working like it should I guarantee you won't regret it. PS he's awsome on that 350 lc & he's cheap to run - plenty of tea & coffee!
He'll be the only person touching my bike from now on & I wouldn't bat an eyelid at taking it the 4 1/2 hour jouney to his place.
Thanks Dude for a brilliant week: thumbup

I agree. Saw him yesterday while he was working on Stu's bike.
He also fitted my steering damper and set that up.

Top bloke

Yesterday?,didnt think he was gonna work weekends, but then again his daughter is away skiing ,he only got home from my place 10:30 Fri night

Yep, he was working. Drilled out the studs on Stu's swingarm and connected his tank back up.
Like everyone says, top bloke

And he makes me look good on a Trials bike. (which is not easy) so come again anytime Griff.

cheers Vince for the go on the bike and the Tea etc.

Even though I didnt need anything doing to my Blue it great to meet you chaps. Great ride out afterwards. Good to introduce someone else to the riding Devon and Cornwall has to offer.

Shame my shock didn't arrive till this morning :dunno was looking forward to a bimble.

sound like everyone had a good time. Onion was well pleased with his bike and i even witnessed Griff clean his wheels.

For me the highlights were throwing my leg over Vince's Gas Gas after 12 years since my last go at trials and just topped by Griff getting a text from someone called "Spanker Mark" asking how much to service his wife. :doug

As griff said " i should reply, how much did i charge here last time" :biggrin

Stonking week for me ,learnt a few things, didnt remember Lc's going THAT well round bends, well mine didnt anyway.Took my Mille out yesterday,1st time since Griff had a look at the suspension,It's now bloody awsome, just gotta wind my neck in a bit & be careful, will soon be silly season down here with all the tourists
Griff, your welcome back anytime, even if Im not about, the garage & house is yours
See you all at the Italian festival,weather permiting{not pissing down}

That's very reassuring Vince mate as Griffs here at mine in about a weeks time!! I have already stated the same thing as yourself bud, that i'd have travelled to his place if he couldn't make it here.................like you too bud , he'll be the only man looking after my bike, full stop.

Vince did your weave go after the tweak ?

Yep weaving is gone, combination of setup & new bridgstone 016's,I've still got the forks on 5 rings & shock at maximum recommended length,180/55 tyre. She handles lovely now ,& with quick steering ,cant wait for our Spain & France trip

Cool

Sounds like your problem was lack of weight on the front end then. Bet it inspires a lot more confidence knowing it won't weave on you.
016's going on the duke as soon as i get to first service and can ditch the trackday rubbish it comes with.

I did have it set that way before, maybe with a bit more rear ride height, couldnt get in to measure it accuratly, did it when I greased the rear linkage.I had dunlop quilifiers before with a 190/50 & as it turnes out ,way to much rear preload,so I will steer clear of those tyres in the future, griped ok but didnt last long either

hey! just want to say thanks to vince and griff, my bike is a peach to ride now its stopped missfiring in front of hot girls!!! handles like a goodun an all!! nice to meet the others and my ride on the LC was great fun, i can only apologise for my weak bladder though eh :)
