Im after a full Akrapovic exhaust system, but I dont want the end can. Does anyone know where I can just buy the system or if anyone has one to sell even better.

The other option Im looking at is having a custom exhaust made, but im struggling to find any dimensions of the Akra system.

Any help fully appreciated.

I just want the can, so if you do end up buying the lot... maybe we could do a deal :cheers

Its not cheap, Evo 2 full system is £1918 cheapest I have found so far. End can is listed at £1096 on its own.

Mate, do you think It's going to make much more difference to this already insane beastie? that's NZ$4k, keep the stock headers and just get the end can?

Each to their own, but that's a lot of money for some thing that only seems to makes more noise.

How often are you on full throttle and feel the need for an extra 3 horse power (if you believe the ********* the promoters dish out)

Too True, and resale value.....Zilch!

I agree that it is expensive for the full system, but if you are going down the route of adding the upper rsv4 loom and upper injectors, variable stacks, Gabro map, PCV, then why not go the whole hog and get the best free flowing exhaust to make the most of the other mods once mapped accordingly.

That is my thinking, but like I said I plan on using the HP corse end can just with the akra headers and not buying the can would save me £1096. leaving it at £822 for the system. Just trying to find somewhere that will sell me just the system is the problem. Might give the dealer a call on Monday. Still waiting to hear back from some custom exhaust places aswell

Have you tried Calsport?

I'm sure they are an importer and also carry spares.

Akra evo's full system have a larger bore to the end can, 5-10mm bigger so only the evo akra fits, standard akra slip on does not and nor will any others that are standard slip ons.

They do come up on ebay now and again and range from £450-800 used. The latest evo system has slightly different pipework.

LeoVince did do a much more affordable system however they went tits up, but you see some on ebay now and again in europe and US.

You could also get just the headers from Austin Racing but not cheap.

There was another brand who I had never heard of, as one came up on ebay and was brand new, went for £600 was a nice system, but can't find em.

Very good point Dan, I couldn't find anyone willing to split the system anyway. Think Im going to have to bite the bullet and buy a whole system. I dont like the look of the Akra cans though, think its too long for the bike so have been looking at RSV4 GP2R SLIP-ONS & FULL SYSTEMS - austinracing but the noise level will be 120db plus which maybe just be too loud even for me

Always have liked the Austin Racing so just going to go for that one, which means I will have a HP Corse exhaust up for sale soon Mikkel :thumbup

Do you run the full system or just the end can? Do you have the baffle in? guess no issue with noise. :thumbup

I've just got the end can mate I'd love the full system but ain't got enough pennies, it actually has 3 baffles, one normal db killer that bolts into the end of the can, one that goes between the link pipe and the can and one that goes in the link pipe, I run it without any of them in. It's a lot louder without the two baffles in like, I've never even fitted the db killer, I love noise!! More than welcome if ts want some pics of the baffle arrangement sending or have a look and listen in the flesh.
