Fuel tanks ???

Could someone tell me if the fuel tanks on the earlier models such as mine are inter-changable with the 2000 onwards... ie..Littleone's tank is a different shape and thats what i'm after but dont know if it will fit :confused

Steve,

As far as i'm aware the earlier metal tanks (1998 to 2000.5) are slightly longer than the later model plastic tanks. I believe the mounting points etc are the same but you would also need the later model (2000.5 to 2003) rider seat, side panels and rear plastics, lights and pillion seat too. The fuel caps may also be different too. As for the fuel pump that would need further investigation.

Have you got a link to those steve :thumbup I can only find one and thats for a 2002 model which wont fit mine.

Soz m8 , thought they were all the same fitting :dunno, just had a lookie and yes they are for the 2002. I'll let you know if i see any :thumbup
