I have a little problem with the fuel overflow pipes on my Aprilia Tuono 03. inside the filler cap there are two outlets, one with a lip and one without. the one with the lip is clear whereas the one without has some sort of blockage. I have tried blowing through, wire and all different ways to unclear it. does anyone know if it has a filter in the pipe close to the outlet? Why is there two overflow pipes in the first case?

if you have a look at the back of the tank at the botom on the right hand side youll see two blue pipes connected to two aluminium stubs these block up really easy!

whip the tank off unbolt the stubbs and redrill em though....sorted dead easy!!

should take about half hour!

really common really easy!

if you need any advice just get in touch ..always happy to help!

Hi Fusebox

I will try that, I didn't know that they could be unbolted, I tried putting a piece of wire up from the bottom after removing the two blue pipes. A couple of months ago I put a new petrol pump on the bike after the last one packed in and didn't know whether I did something then. Do I need to drain the tank, they are not the ones connected to the pump flange
