Hi everyone, I am new to forum and any advice on my much loved 2002 RSV mille 1000 r would be greatley appreciated..
The problem raised itself when I was approx 3 miles into a ride it started missing and stopped. I raised the tank and tried the starter and it started revved then ran lumpy then onto one cylinder then stopped. The fuel pump is priming and when I take banjo bolt off injector bodies it delivers fuel at good pressure. I have tested tip over switch and side stand switch. Iff the bike had carbs you would think it was putting a squirt of gas in the float chambers then using it up then dying. I have also tested the two solenoids by putting power over them and both performed as they should. My next step is changing ecu or throttle bods which can be expensive if it doesn't solve problem.
