Fuel Leak after drop on California bike

Stupid me! didn't leave the bike on level and when I went to get my helmet it fell. Anyway I have a fuel leak I located the leak coming from a hose which has a Stopper on it. I put the stopper back that's prolly the quick drain hose. so my question is I see two plastic pipes on the right side of the frame of my 2001 mille RSV. It's between the seat and the tank just under the small fairing. so one says drain and the other one says California something prolly for smog. I plugged the drain one on where it says drain now the hose which goes down the exhaust keeps leaking gas I stopped it with a bolt and paper on emergency basis at a gas station. is it leaking because I might have a broken drain hose in my tank? how hard is it to change that? I personally don't want any uncesarrary hoses and crap besides the drain hose so can someone show me which hoses I could terminate so my gas wouldn't drain out on the fwy which is very dangerous. I took a picture and I will upload tonight. thanks

i believe the california spec bikes had to have some charcoal filter thing fitted for recycling the petrol fumes or something funky like that, could be one of the pipes around that came loose??

only the california spec bikes have those things fitted, its a legal requirement..

breaking a hose itself would be quite hard as they are usually rubber or some other flexible material, but its possible one got knocked loose, have you lifted the tank and had a good look around to see if there are any obvious damages?

good luck and hope its nothing too bad!!
