Fuel Exhausts.

This Tuono I have came with Fuel after market exhausts with removable baffles
Prefer to fit the originals back on. So if anyone has some spare cash and wants to make some extra noise let me know.
I presume that the fuelling has to be remapped to suit the std exhausts. Anyone recommend an exceptional dealer that can do this. Have a local bike shop, but have reservations about using them

Your bike will be fine with map 2 on standard exhaust cans.No need to re-map.
Map 1 is only there for the tough euro emission regs.Besides,mapping is altered by the official Aprilia Axone diagnostic meter,....yer local bike shop probably wont have one.

Thanks for that info, only going off what the previous owner told me...went on to the Fuel website and according to them their cans are manufactured so that remapping
is not required. But then again, I read on some forum that the cats can become fried if the remap in not done....ho hum..Bung the std ones on tomorrow???

Awright Chips min....have had a Fuel can in the past on a GSX1400 and it was good quality considerin the low price. Selt it on Fleabay fur nae much less than a bought as weel! Bike ran ticketyboo fur 2 years with no changes needed, an wi baffle oot as weel.
However the Tuono is a different Beastie tho an ah widnae be 100% convinced that Fuel actually have tried an tested their cans oan one...fit the standards oan an see how she runs before ye mess aboot wi mappin..

...any roads Chippie loon, why wid ye want tae fit the standards when LOUD is good!
