i am now a proud owner of a tuono and as i have only has sports bikes with fairings protecting my fingers from the elements i have found out that my alpinestars s-moto gloves just do not give enough protection.
my thumb and fingers were in pain, my questions are

1. who has heated grips!
2. from what manufacturer.

I wouldn't....I have heated grips on my Honda...they're thicker/bulkier and feel nowhere near as good as the Tuono.....way less sensitivity...

anyway, we're almost into summer....so things should only get better....tough it out...

Failing that...get some decent winter gloves.

have r&g on the hooner and oxford on the t.
the oxford ones are thick!
the r&g ones are cheap but do the job.

Hi Ratbag, I didn't go the route of heated grips and went for hanguards instead. Search the thread on the forum and it could throw a spanner in your thinking.

Make sure your kept warm in the chest department and the fingers will get warm blood also

I got heated grips And i find them brilliant. Got on gilos bike the other day though for a quick ride and he hasn't for them and felt the grips were really small. The heated grips don't lose much sensitivity on the bike at all i don't find but they only warm one side of your fingers. Thick gloves a must also

Heated grips only heat the inside of your fingers. The outsides suffer nearly the same, if it's cold out.

For similar $, try a pair of Gerbings heated gloves http://gerbing.com/Products/gloves.html

I've got the G3 and they are warm even without the heat on. With it on, well, let's just say my hands don't get cold, ever. I used them a bunch on my ST in lots of cold weather riding. After seeing a few guys who werent complaining about their frozen digits with me, I bought in, and have been happy ever since.

MAHOOSIVE Alpinestars golve bought, sent my alpinestars s-octanes off for a small repair.
