Can any one help me on this I have just changed front forks for 05 radial Showa on my 1999 Mille I have the spacers 2.5mm behind the disc clutch side is fine but the brake disc on brake leaver side rubs on caliper eage It seems like the fork leg needs to go over towords the disc more I have replaced the wheel bearings I'm woundering if they are sticking out abit far they look like they are seted in the wheel properly could some one measer the distance from the hub to the inner fork bottem or from the hub to the spacer that's on the wheel spindle when tight.
Thanks for the help guys as I've lost most of my hair now :0)

Thanks deacs
I'll try and get a photo but it's awkward to get the inside view of the caliper :0(

Try fitting the wheel the other way around. Had a similar problem, think the wheels must be sided (but direction not marked on them).

Here is an pic hope it works as I've never posted s pic this is the caliper that's touching the disc

I think the fork leg needs to go over a touch so I think the bearing might be to thick and the spacer is making the fork leg push out to much as it was ok before I put new bearings in but I need the measurement from one that's ok.

Hey Kev,
just checked mine (wasn't the easiest to see the way the bike was laid up) effectively its 12mm from the outer bearing recess face (so the cast lip just proud of the bearing) to inner fork foot face. I'll measure again tomoz when I'm in the garage to confirm the measurement, looking at yer photo's I'd say you need to skim a couple of mm off the spacer
