Changed my front sprocket to a 15 t this morning but when torqueing the stud to 80 ft lb it felt like that poor wee bolt was about to snap so i stopped before the wrench clicked or the stud snapped!!!
Did i have the right setting or have i overcooked it????

Gearing feels alot better now just means even more stops for some juice!!

Doh!

Will go and unwind it in the morning if it hasn`t already pinged off??

cheers Dave

No worries Rig.

If you like 15t on the front, you might want to try 42t or 43t on the rear now though.

Your very lucky it didn't snap the head off the bolt. A number of owners have done just that.

Make sure you use plenty of Loctite opn the bolt as well, they have been known to come loose with disasterous consequences
