Got my lazy arse around to having a look at front sussys on my gen II r today.

Has been just about throwing ma hands off the bars since i got it .........so harsh not nice and damn scary sometimes

Checked settings against the book and turns out compression and rebound have been wound up to the pepsi max hence the fookin scary riding experience :thumbdown

Set them back to factory settings and off we go , slithering aboot in the November rain & mud!!:crazy

Worth having a look if front end is scaring the ***** out of ye :thumbup

if you can afford it get an Ohlins damper on the girl, fully adjustable, very nice

There's some cocks out there that piss around with suspension and don't know what they are doing, then, when they sell it on, the next owner - you has to put it back to stock.
It may be worth checking the rear too, if the front has been messed up...

Like you say Grin the rears probably been fettled with an all so will have a deek at that tommorrow .
Not fast enough ,light enough or rich enough to justify throwing a set of ohlins on her :thumbdown

Rig a took mine tae get the sag set on it, a bought the bike from new and never touched the settings. When the boy had finish setting it up he said the front forks were setup 13 clicks apart. Makes yer wonder whit the feck goes on at both factories, he's an ohlins guru and works in Scott Reding's garage. He reckoned that the ohlins factory set the units up before they despatch them???
