Front cam chain tensioner access

Hi All

is there an easy way to get at the front cam chain tensioner?
It seems to be hidden by the 4 way coolent manifold

Can this be removed without draining the whole system as it seems to be just about the highest point in the cooling system?

Is there an easy way to do this?

Haynes doesnt even mention the 4 way coolent manifold at all

You will lose some coolant and there isn't really a trick to get round it.
You will almost certainly have an air lock after doing it so make sure you bleed the system.

The temp sensor on the rear cylinder head is even higher but you would be suprised how much fluid you lose doing it.
