good god ive just tried to remove my front calipers to get my wheel of to change my discs. The mounting bolts wont move. Am i missing somethink here? They do go anti clockwise to loosen dont they? Its an RSVR 06 factory with brembo radials.

They turn the standard way.

Find some huge lever and crack it :D, probably there loctited

The usual stuff - left loosey, righty tighty:)

My OEM bolts were made of cheese, so I replaced them with a set of ProBolt stainless. I re-tapped all of the threads and use a spot (literally one) of engine oil on the threads. Tighten to 50N m.

I never have any issues now. (Mrs BRG usually threads them up for me when we change wheels.)

BTW, don't forget that the pinch bolts on the Ohlins forks clamp to 12N m. Don't make the mistake of applying Showa torque (20N m IIRC) or you'll strip 'em.

I had to drill of my right side bolts - they were totally stuck... And i do admit the material they are made of is kind soft...

REplaced them with Probolt Titanium ones (gold) - they also lmatch the brake caliber and Öhlins color ;)
