Front Brake Problem

Hi guys, I took the RSV to Mallory for it's first track day on Friday and I was really impressed by it.

It felt very stable and pulled well out of the corners.

Only problem is I've fried my front brake!!!

Lever pulls back to the bar and now there is noticeable drag- is this just a case of simple bleed and fluid change or do I need a new master cylinder?

Cheers!

Check that nothing is leaking, then the colour of the disks if a deep blue I'm afraid they are cooked too. If answer is no to either then check pad conditions then try bleeding them.

I mate i get the same problem when i go out i just bleed the master cylinder and its fine for abit i dont have any leaks i gess i am gettinn air from some where

The discs look fine, so I suppose it's just the fluid boiling up and creating bubbles then? Well that's a relief, although very frustrating!

I saw another thread with someone reccommending a very high quality DOT4 race fluid, guess I'll have to try that.

Brake issue aside the old girl went well; pulled well out of Edwinas and the hairpin- just got swallowed a little on the straight by the 4 cylinder 1000's and ultimately outbraked in the final sessions.

Cheers guys!
