First really good blast of the year, grounded out the sidestand twice.. which was as a bit odd because i wasnt really hanging one on... When i stopped.. i flicked down the stand and swung my leg ... lowering the bike onto the stand as usual, it just kept going.. caught me off balance... next minute bike is on its side on the floor!!!! picked it up and got it on a paddock stand, the sidestand is completely snapped in half!!! luckily my crash bung/bar end took all weight.. a few mark on my side panel... but not life threatening..
I know someone on here was modding Gixer side stands...

all help gratefully accepted.. i was trying out my new camera setup from www.4kam.com.. so, i thought at least i will have it on film.... nope, didnt shut the battery cover correctly... lmao
What a day.. to add insult to injury.. my favourite road was shut
