gonna replace my clutch as it does not feel tops at top end.
Been looking about and I have no way on this earth getting my wife to ay yes to a barnett kit so been looking for my trusty EBC ones.
found a set of friction plates for £57. is that good?

Also what springs should I get, Thought I read that the HD ones can be a pain on chainging gear.

Also do you think im going to have to change the steels aswell? never had to on my other bikes:thumbup

would make sure its tip top before it goes, but to be honest Im not trying hard to sell it :)
Rode the long way home tonight on the bike and wow was it great. to many bloody flies on the front of the bike and had to clean my lid :lol

When I cranked it over tonight, it just didnt feel it was pulling like it should and I don't know now long the clutch kits been fitted to the bike so thought kill 2 birds with one stone :)

Yours is a sweet looker Garv and I doubt you'd notice that much difference with a newer old shape one. Plus it's not a good time to be selling - I can't believe some of the low prices I've been hearing on here recently.
Is the clutch actually slipping? You'll hear it - they often let go under max torque in the mid-range. Wouldn't have thought you'd need to do the steels as well.
Sorry, no idea on the HD springs but haven't heard of them being a weak point so standard ones should be OK. £57 quid sounds pretty reasonable to me.

garv,
there is a dealer on ebay that sells gen clutch plates for less than £50

i got mine from him.then just rough the steel plates up with some sand paper
as long as there in good nick.

worked a treat on mine m8.

Nah the clutch is not slipping just dont feel right :) Got to get my 0.4 jet to see if that helps with the clutch drag
any of you guys out tonight? Avebury way?
