Hello all,
Ive been browing the sate for ages and recentl joined. Thought i'd say hello and give a bit of background about me.

I'm based in the "it rains every day" midlands. Been riding for just shy of 10 years and had my first V twin experience in 2004 when i bought my first RSV factory. I was gutted 18 months later when i had to sell her due the expanding family That was an awesome bike which i loved in everyway even though i had more problems with that than all my other bikes put together.

From 05 - 07 i was on a daytona and then onto an 04 R1. The R1 was an awesome piece of engineering and what a top end. Then in april this year my twin bro went and bought an 07 RSVR. The moment i laid eyes on it i remebered why i love these bikes so much. I took for a spin and what can i say, twins you either love them or hate them and I absolutely love them.

Within 2 weeks the R1 was up for sale. The day after I took a deposit i was viewing an 07 RSVR in the same colours as my bro's. Quite rare by all accounts. Deposit left and 2 weeks later i'm back on a twin.

What an absolutely awesome bike. Its not about top end its about handling and fun. I love it to bits, the handling, the styling, The NOISE.

This site is ace and looks like theres some good folk on here. If anyone is up for a midlands blast anytime post up and if im not working i'll be there.

Going Touring cars at silverstone this weekend. If weather is good on saturday i'll be on the rsv if anyone else is going.

PS can't seem to post up piccies but there some in my garage if you want a sneak peak

Good choice! I sold a GSXR1000 to get mine so I know where you are coming from - I'm sure I'm safer and faster on the Mille....

hello & welcome fella

another midlander

Yep always riding through your neck of the woods. some cracking roads round rutland. Fave though is the B6047 which is a peach for a twin. Smoked loads of gixxers along there.

Hey mate - welcome back to real motorcycling!:thumbup

Oh yes i cant stop smiling every time i ride the rsv. it really is so much more fun than my r1. Its also more involving to ride well which i think is where i get the biggest enjoyment.

Thanks for the welcome guys, its great to be able to have some banter with like minded folk. never got anything like this on any jap bike ive owned.

All part of the italian experience
