Once you have the required stuff together and squeezed under the rear seat ,its no biggie. and yea France is a great place for biking (except Paris) learn a few key phrases in French and the locals will really look after you
 
I must have been to a different france.

All I got was resentment & a total lack of co-operation, no matter how much I shouted in English.

Joking apart, of all the countries in europe I have been, I felt the least welcome in france.

i agree Tifa, just wanted to make sure no one got caught out as the fine is more expensive than the product
