Fork Seals

So I've had two different mechanics from two different shops here in LA rebuild the standard showa forks on my 01 mille since January of this year and they are leaking yet again. I use the bike to commute and i ride the snake and other Malibu canyons when i can so reasonably hard riding but not track.

I did a cursory search online but can't find anything claiming this is a known issue (have heard it is on the ohlins) but does anyone know of what might be the cause here.

Also to make matters worse was adjusting the compression damping recently and the screws ceased in the softest position, perhaps i have to replace the forks entirely?

Are the ohlins worth the price tag if i replace my showas?

Could they be slightly bent. I was having my ohlins serviced after a slide and they said leaky seals could meant they forks are bents. hence not sitting right in the tubes

your showas seem to be goosed

buy a newer set of forks like radial showa's but you have the cost of new calipers as well
buy another set of showas that are good
buy some showas and rebuild with differnet valving etc
go ohlins but again make sur ethey are good
