Hi everyone, the time has come for the Tuono to be sold, I've put my money down on a S/H Multistrada... I'd love to keep it as well but and the rule in my house is one bike at a time!
It's a 2006 (UK) reg bike and it can either be absolutely standard or if someone is quick I will offer it in the current configuration.
Milage is higher than average at 27,500 as it's been used for regular commuting from March to October each year. Never seen a salty road and garaged at night and in the Winter. It's been on Hoon's to Germany and France and the others will assure you that I am a carfeul rider and spent most of my time trying to catch up with the group!
Bike has been regularly serviced by Southern Cross and has had the following done over the last few years:
Last service at 24,809 miles
MOT June 2012
New battery (1.5 years old)
New Regulator and Alternator (1.5 yrs)
New clutch (1 yr)
Steering head bearings (1.5 yrs)
New front brake pads (4 months ago)
New tyres (Michelin Road 3's - about 800 miles
Price for the bike as standard £4,250
Or for £4,800 it could come with about £900 of extras (at current S/H valuations), including
Akrapovic exhausts (marked up a bit)
Ohlins rear shock
Powerbronze screen (dark)
Acculign adjustable rear sets
Aprilia colour matched Pillion cover
Carbon hugger
Sargent customised seat
Woodcraft crash bungs
Oberon clutch and brake covers
If I don't sell it with all the toys on then these will be up for grabs at a later date (please don't try and reserve things now though).
There is also a Ventura rack system available, an Bathurst bag if required (at additional cost).
