remove such a wonderful addition from your bike.

what is a hooked air box :dunno never seen one, but they are often refered to on the forum. thinking of buying a k&n filter any thought on best one for my gen 2 rsvr.:confused

Basically a plate with a big air filter over the throttle bodies,...improves the midrange somewhat
.loud induction noise...sod the k&n buy this

As nob said the gains are around 3-5bhp top end 4-8 mid range and a smoother delivery, as for getting oil all over if your oil is at the correct level then you wont have any problems, I have run one of these kits on my gen1 for over 2 years and never had any issues.

The fitting of the kit is very simple, remove your existing air filter and replace with the carbon plate, but full instructions are included.
