Please see ebay item 60450903764. Not sure how to link it without giving people the right to edit my listing.
anyway. here's a breakdown (lifted from the ebay ad):
Breaks my heart to have to sell my beloved millie but, as I'll be leaving the RAF soon, a mortgage beckons and I need a deposit. I bought it in January this year in order to go down to the south of france on. I've done that so now it's serious saving time and first on the list are my bikes.
It's a 2002 'R' model. Over the standard RSV it has:
Ohlins Front forks
Ohlins Rear Shock
Oz Racing lighweight wheels.
Carbon fibre front mudguard,
Carbon fibre side panel inserts
Carbon hugger
Good Points:
Only 4924 miles. I bought it with 1400 miles on it.
Very good condition Michilin 2CT tyres on. I put these on the bike so you can see how much I've taken it to the edge..... Not very. I'm not a fast rider.
MOT'd until November.
Meta Alarm/Imobilizer
Completely standard exept for the Double Bubble screen.
I have changed the oil using the Aprilia recommended AGIP 15 w 50 oil and Aprilia Filter complete with the Aprilia recommended new Oil Filter modification.
The bike has never been raced. I checked for this when I bought the bike from Cooperb Motorcycles in Northampton when I bought it. I have never taken it on track and looking at the OE tyres still fitted to the bike when i bought it,
Seat cowl and rear seat supplied
Aprilia rear Subframe conversion allowing pillions (not standard but came with the bike when I bought it.)
FSH
The bike constantly been stored in our Motorcycle Club Workshop on camp (as I'm the workshop manager, which has it's perks) and the battery has constantly been on trickle charge.
Aprilia uprated Starter Solanoid.
Upgraded Clutch Slave Cylinder making the clutch about 40% lighter (original supplied with the bike)
Bad Points:
The tax runs out at the end of this month but this be sorted out if required
THAT'S IT!!
This really is an awesome and if i wasn't leaving the Air Farce I wouldn;t even think of selling it. It handles brilliantly, has a real cult following and is ideal for taller riders who still want a sports bike (i'm 6' 3'' and have no dramas with it. This is one reason why i bought it in the first place.).
Cash only please I have been stung in the past by a bankers cheque.
Any questions then please call me on 07525-537787 or mail me on here with the 'Ask seller a question' button.
The bike can be viewed but I'm on night this week and finish on sunday morning so viewing will be during afternoons only. Apologies. Test rides welcome but I will require full cash in my hand before you ride off.
The bike is situated at RAF Brize Norton in west Oxfordshire. 2 mins from the A40 and 15 mins from Oxford.
Thanks for viewing.
For full deatils please see the ebay ad. I am open to offers and viewing/test rides.
Cheers.
