...This months' (march (you know how weird magazine publishers get with dates)) issue of fast bikes has a Price Wars feature, featuring a shootout between an older model RSV, the ZX10R, the Busa, and the GSXR-1000.

You can read a nice little writeup of the RSV Mille there, which seems to be summarised in "plenty of power low down, handling great, very uncomfortable, top end a little flat"

The article concludes "If Jesus could have swapped his gold, silver and myrhh for a bike, he'd have the Aprilia".

"The mille gets our vote. It's cheapest, but it's also the most pleasurable n the corners, and keeps you honest when it's upright".

Fast Bikes No 1, March 2012 :).

I didn't realise you could get a mille for 2 grand. Looks like I might be able to get one of the new shape RSVRs sooner than I'd imagined :thumbup

Yeah but I want a spangly new shape one.

Like this :) :.

It's twice I've posted this picture. I just like it :p.

not so sure on the flames but have seen them for 3k factory model some good bargains out there at the moment

Yeah, I'd quite like a nice factory like the above ^^^.
I'm not so keen on the flames either, but it is a nice machine all the same :).

Got mine for £1800 pal well pleased with it although the **** I bought it off did not have a clue as the lighting loom had been bodged from an alarm removal and high beam would not work......thanks to cowelly :thumbup sorted that and with the mods I have done well pleased couldn't of got a better bargain elsewhere for so much grin factor :biggrin

With the work I'm doing on the bike I can't sell it now as I'll never recoup me laobour rates!!!!!!!!! But I love it anyway...........

I'm about to post a nice on-board video on a 22 km stretch of twisties on a 2004 Factory.....for the un-initiated wanting to see what it looks like from behind the screen on real roads. This trying to mix in some good music. Same model as the one in top pic. The complete vid is to big to post so will cut-out a good stretch. Every time I go on that road I can't get the grin of my face for a week.

Looks like great fun. The RSV sure lifts its nose a lot. :tillis

All I need now is someone - two someones in fact.
Where A = Me, MRS is Money offered for RS250 and MRSV is Money requiredfor RSV1000R, P1 is Buyer of RS and P2 is Seller of RSV, and WOO is new RSV,what I think I need now is:

A + P1 (P1 = (MRS = MRSV)) = MRSV
A + MRSV + P2 = WOO

It's a work in progress :).

Stop fannying about and:

a) get some work done ;)

b) go buy an RSV :)

Seriously, it's still way too cold in Yorkshire for serious RSV activity. I can see snow from the window,

Rob :)
