have a chat with Griff at apriliaperformance on 01827 285500 - he has had rearsets developed that move the mastercylinder off the engine and have grippy pegs as you need.
I have Arrow rearsets on mine and I've never had a slippy moment even though my journey starts on a muddy lane every day (if it's been wet, which it often is). I've never tried the standard ones. Have you tried different boots?
I havent got much strength in my right leg so cant put as much pressure on as most would. Its just the peg im after cant really afford a new rearset at min having to pay for repairs on a yamaha divvy i own.

I suggest you go have a look in your local bike shop and see what they have in the aftermarket footpeg section or if you know of a peg that would suit from a different bike you could try a scappy. You thought about something from a motocrosser?
I'm no expert, 35+ years ago I used to go watch top end motocross racing and those guys manage to (mostly) keep boot on peg in extreme conditions. I guess the technology has probably improved since then. Worth a look!
