Another FNG! I've used this intro before so why not just copy and paste :cheers
Where to begin? Let's see, I started street riding in March 2005. My first bike was a 2005 EX500. Rode her hard and sold her wet. My second bike was a 2006 SV650S. Man, I loved that bike but unfortunately did not keep her long. Totaled it on Hwy 60 just south of Suches, GA. I had only been riding 7 months at the time so I just slipped through the six-month statistic window. Wanted to get back on two ASAP and found a steal of a deal on a 2003 SV1000. WOW "“ totally different animal and more power than I knew what to do with at the time. It did not take long for me to crack the throttle on cold tires and get flung off right in front of my house. Long story short, I wanted anther SV650S.
February 2006 I bought another SV650S and rode her for two plus years. Thousands of miles in the twisty roads of North Georgia and hundreds of miles at the neighboring tracks! I learned a lot and became a better rider for it but I still wanted more.
I had been eyeballing the Tuono since 2006. Now, I am glad to say that I am the proud owner of a Blue and White 2007.5! I was looking at either the Tuono or the Triumph Speed Triple. A good friend let me take his 2006 S3 around "the loop" a couple of times and though I liked the power plant of the 3-cyclinder 1050, I was still convinced that I was a V-Twin man!
I am an active member of a couple of forums based specifically in Georgia. I love riding my bike in the mountains, on the way to work or on long commutes. I have a genuine obsession for this passion we call motorcycling. I am not religious and don't judge those who are. I do enjoy intelligent conversation and discussion. I am not easily offended so please speak your mind; post up the R-Rated Avatars, NC-17 Rated jokes, politically incorrect gestures and I will do my best to participate as well. I enjoy fishing, hunting, guns, shooting, cigars, poker and parties. I've been labeled a redneck by most. Born and raised Georgia Boy and damn proud of it!
Glad this place is here, I browse www.apriliaforum.com frequently but I like the dedication here to only the Tuono and thanks for allowing me to be a part of this party"¦
