just put the forks back on, they seem okay but it was raining so difficult to tell if the leak is still present. Whilst the bike was sitting it seems to have developed a leaky clutch slave! If i buy an mpl do they do spares for them? Or am i better off just getting a new seal? I know the mpl offers other benefits but they don't really bother me as i don't really sit in traffic enough to justify the expense.

16 tooth front is quite pleasant btw. Makes 20mph limits a 2nd gear job. Not really tested the acceleration as it was damp on the way in to work and it's the test ride after fitting the forks!

new seal is about £8 mpl =??£££

the 16 tooth def. makes a difference more fun the front wants to come up more but so much easier in slow conditions :thumbup

if you dont feel like you need a new slave cylinder dude then a seal for the slave cylinder is the way forward mate!!!

MPL around 90 quid .........slave cylinder seal...11 quid ish ( in stock BTW :devious)

no brainer matey!!!

griffer!

griff, you will hear your phone ringing soon lol
It seems to have stopped for now, i wonder if it was just where it was stood and it got cold suddenly. The brakes went a bit funny too and even after i bled them the front brake light switch wasn't returning! Fine now i've been for a few runs to work and back though. I'll have the seal so it's there when it does get worse.
