Fitting US sidestand

Hi All

I'm probably just being thick, but I have just tried to fit a US sidestand and the bracket is different! Mine (an Australian model, but I think the same as UK/Eur) has two bolt holes whereas the US bracket has three. It looks like the lower engine mount bolt would fit but I can't see how. Has anyone fitted one and, if so, how did you do it?

Cheers

Dave

You will need longer bolts as the bracket plate is thicker than standard.
Not sure what the lengths are, but I had to buy 3 stn stl socket head bolts. (2 short and one longer one)

Hi

I have some pictures below of my frame and sidestand bracket. It looks like the frame surrounding the lower engine bolt will obstruct the US bracket. If someone can point out what I'm missing I'd appreciate it. I can always mill the US bracket to fit, but only if it's absolutely necessary!!
