First video attempt

B

Badger

Bought a Sony handycam and bullet camera plus a LANC control button which is a remote button you can mount on the tank or somewhere easy to get to, it switches the camera off/on at the press of a button, i mounted the bullet camera under the fairing at the front last weekend and went for a trial run up a local road, the results are so crisp and clear, unfortunately loading to a host site spoils the clarity of the video, if you click on the reduction button at the bottom of the screen it helps the quality, the right hand button maximises the screen size, but you lose quality. Lets you hear the full Smaltmoto system making music:devious

I am impressed at the simplicity of use the LANC and look forward to getting it fitted for some track action or faster road rides, anyway here is the first attempt

Good vid, nice riding Badger what road is that? Is it the one heading from your town back up towards the Ayr direction?May just have been shadows but surface quality looked a bit iffy in bits.

Smashing stuff, certainly sounds very familiar....it's good to get the intake/engine noise rather than windblast!

Ross, it is the one you are talking about, the road was very dirty and damp here and there with a few potholes that have appeared over winter due to timber haulage, TBH i was not giving it the berries due to the road conditions and being a bit rusty as well, good to see you managed to keep the Mille:thumbup

Once the road is clean and i can get tyres proper hot i will do another at a different pace:devious

How did you mount the camera Badger?I bought a bullet cam myself for trackdays etc. but haven't used it yet.Are you still headin for Kirkistown next weekend,I was booked to go myself but the bike is in the shop getting the stator replaced...

Mounted it below the front of the fairing on the right hand side, not central but tucked in to the corner so it does not foul the mudguard if braking hard.

I am of to Croft on the 9th and not over to Kirkistown till the 25th May, let me know if you are there:thumbup
