First stage air box conversion .

I'll keep you posted on the do it yourself air box mod if anyone wants to have a go :eatcorn its the first time i've had the tank up and looked at the mighty beast in its glory :doug Started her up without the air box on and boy does it sound good so hoping for some different power gains when the mods all done :thumbup

Hi m8, i'm not sure if the model you have can be done the same way as mine as mine is a 2000 model but i'm sure someone will help out in letting you know :thumbup I'm doing all these mods myself so its all new to me so thats why i'm going to let people know how i get on and what differences i get outa just doing the air box, then itll be the gearing :thumbup

Hello buddy, I've got the 04 model RSVR and have had the renegade carbon air box fitted at 140 quid, makes alot of difference and sounds great :thumbup

If you want to see it fitted PM me and I'll get pic of the tank lifted for ya fella

eyup millersvr69 looks like you got akros and air box mod, have you had to fit power commander or anything like that or is map 2 ok.
i also have akros and i am running map 2 and are thinking about air box mod but dont fancy power commander
any info much appreciated cheers

Hi m8 i'm not sure if you want to go the DIY route like myself but as yours is an 06 you could try here...http://www.renegade-products.com/ if you want to buy the kit and do it yourself or most people on here recommend don at southern cross as they will supply you the kit or fit it for you . Badger on here knows most about the air box mods so it would be best to pm him and see what he comes up with :thumbup. Hope this helps :thumbup

I think it is as it will help to get fueling correct, but you do need to get some dyno time to get the best out of it, so you have to allow for that cost as well, everything is a pro, the con is the cost

whens part 2!!!

does the airbox mod make alot of diff to the noise?? ive noticed with mine that the sound of the airbox almost drowns out the zorst when sat on it.
