WOW , first time ever on a big twin , just got her back tonight RSVR 2003 fantastic condition , of course it pissed down so had to take it easy .
first impressions are good but it will take some getting use to , very lumpy at low revs , it has got the smaller sprocket on so god knows what it was like before that .
Bike came with Termignoni shot gun style exhausts and they are very very loud , Sadly they will have to go as i plan to do a few track days and there is no way they will pass some of the noise tests .
Engine seems noisy after jap stuff but the grunt is amazing it has to ridden in anger , can't wait for decent ride in dry to try out handling .
:thumbup
will post some pics later this week

the mille is one damn fine motorcycle.

RSV or death for me! :thumbup

I have been slagged orf at..had me bike called a Moggie Model (Iti) and heard alot of **** about RSVs..but hell i lust for my APR1L.
Ridden & raced many bikes over the years but for an all round Phat time bike to ride..the RSV is it. OK, it don't have the topend of the modern day Jap models, but Up hill winding roads it kicks arse, down on its luck with long straights, back down hill winding roads with its great engine breaking are a buzz of their own. Own an RSV buddy, and you'll know why we are all here on this top forum. WELCOME :thumbup

rsv are tops chap life says i have to sell my 03 but the bike i will buy and only buy is a older rsv as i come from inline 4s (r1) and couldnt go back, i feel so much comfort riding the rsvr, and the sound its magic, louder the better,;)

yup you have the right bike and model there, torquer then the later ones.
oh ...and welcome dude!

Will the Termignoni cans be louder than the Akrapovic?

DSC00008.jpg

And will they fit?

I'd have been in tears removing the exhausts :unhappy absolutely lovelly bike though mate! :thumbup

Definately will be louder..can't say wether they would fit straight on yours or need mod. ?

They'll fit no problem Rawly, and with no mods :thumbup

I'd guess on the louder front from my experience will depend on how the packing is getting on inside your Akra. Different sound to the Akra though :pirate

Welcome Rawly, lovely bike. Black frame and swingarm, swine :inlove

once packing is gone the akras(or any can) are fairly loud to say the least. Wait til the sticker starts melting before you repack. I like those termis too, shame they wont fit as I have a full race akra.

were you watching ?? i was but as i say they are so LOUD , to be honest the link was a bitch to get off as it had been on a while . So now my bottom joint under engine looks a bit **** as i didn't want to damage the Termi bit so on the look out for decent s/hand one if anyone knows best places apart from e.bay that is .
