First ride YouTube video finished, let me know if you agree...

"Hello everybody, here it is... brand new... APRC... Tuono... V4"

"OK, I'm just holding it in second gear... (BROOAAAARRRRRRR) ... 'Kin ell! Jeeesus Christ!" :lol:lol:lol

You bastard! I want one!

I've gone from thinking they were downright ugly to pretty much needing one, even though I can't afford it!

Interesting that you have ordered some higher bars - presumably there is enough free play in the cables to allow this?

excellent post ,,, I was right there with you!

Also full marks for sound quality ... speach and bike

I want one of our Celtic cousins to record a ride ... ffs that could be sooo funny!

Matlock at the end?

That was really good, rarely watch any of the video clips all the way through but thoroughly enjoyed that one. May have to tape my iphone to my lid and have a go.

I have a gopro atm but the tuono just turns the audio to mush . need a better cam/mic setup

I use a vio pov hd helmet cam from the boys at Dogcam Sport. Very helpful people and love the unit. Records 1080p at 142 degrees f.o.v or 720p at 95 degrees to an SD card so upload and editing is instant. There's even a 2" screen to review footage on, you can change white balance settings etc and it's all fully software upgradeable. Well worth the extra money.

Lol, funny thought about the iphone. Thanks for the feedback.

Yep! Good ole Matlock but excellent surrounding roads. Have a tomtom .itn file ready to load if you fancy a good 62 mile route.

Not sure about the freeplay but dont think it's more than a couple of inches. I've got wussy wrists and am used to the 1000 Fazer so it's worth a try. Wasn't sure what I'd done buying one blind but like a fine wine, it's getting better all the time.

Nice video RC, not sure I want one though as the front wheel seems to stay on the ground

Hey...choose one of the following excuses....

1/ It's running in FFS

2/ I'm a complete wuss and am sh***ng myself in case the AWC packs up lol....

Mate, that was EXCELLENT, and many thanks for taking the time and trouble to prepare and post that one........:thumbup

You`ve also confirmed my next bike for me (although a while off, as I`m VERY happy with my new V2 T :love), because I was a bit concerned in moving from a V2 to a V4 in view of the sound, but that vid you`ve given enables us all to sample just how the bike sounds from the rider`s perspective, rather than just somebody revving it up on the sidestand, and it appears to sound just as good as a twin ?

Anyway, full marks for that one mate, and continue to enjoy your new steed; as I`m sure you will !! :thumbup

Thanks for the nice words, this is EXACTLY why I posted it, when I was looking to buy it I couldn't find any decent footage or feedback. went out for a ride with several ex pupils today and they all commented on how fantastic it sounded as I went past them, it's even better in real life than on the video. You won't be disappointed if you got one.

No worries mate; as I said.....credit where credit`s due ! :thumbup

dam that cam is lush but so is the price !!! will be about £650 by the time you add extras .. ouch !1 no wonder it looked so good lol

excellent post mate, but for me £11500 is a lot to pay for a bike that 90% of the time is no better than what i have.
Unless youre gonna screw it on track ( a lot ! )
Really good quality vid though !!

You could say that about a lot of things..why have a Rolex when a Casio will do a similar thing? Ferrari - Subaru?

Sometimes it's simply cos you can afford it and like it. :drool

Not sure by your post if you think it's already got the Akro on or not....It's still the standard can at the mo which is why I'm so impressed, think an Akro would deafen me lol
