First ride out of the year

Sun out today, so decided it was time to get the bike out and have a quick blast. I'm pleased to say it started first prod of the button. Enjoyed the run around, but rennsports are not the best tyres for cold roads! I had a few twitches even though I was taking my time. The bloody service light came on again, and when I got back checked the oil level, and it was too high. Took about 250 mls out and now its just below the max mark.
All in all enjoyed the play out, about 50 miles, but must invest in some new rubber.

Me too I also managed about 50 miles..beautiful sunny day but still cold on the hands
up here in the North-East.....still massively enjoyable though

Just about got the feeling back in my hands after blowing the winter cobwebs off with a brisk 50 round the beautiful derbyshire dales. Strange thing Grin, my service light also came on, spooky... crackin feeling tho getting out for the first proper one of the season...

got my first run out of the year eday and luved it,was pretty warm up here in the highlands(probably the best day so far)ma oldest lad turned 16 yesterday and got through his cbt and i just luved the look on his face when he set of on the derbi for the first time but my nerves could hardly take it,now i know how my parents felt,
id forgotten how good the T really is and that twin lump is just beautiful:drool

me too 50 ml round the cheshire plain,i also had a few slip n slides even on metzs, but then again only a mean 4 degree what can one expect, still good to get out on a sunny day for a change

I got out today too, just a wee blast to hear those cored cans properly. Holy ****, they're LOUD on a new level. Even my mates Termi shod 916 is put to shame, haha! Was a bit anti-social comin thru the scheme at 9pm mind u. :crazy

Yep, that was the *Official* start of the season alright. It seemed like the world and his wife were out on bikes this weekend, me included. :thumbup

I was out on Saturday, another one doing a 50 mile reccy of the roads just to remind myself about Tuonos. Got some grunt, haven't they?!!!:eek

No probs with tyres slipping like some of you lads, but maybe I wasn't trying hard enough! Bloody hands were freezing too :crazy

Yes was a good day,i went over to Squires yesterday was about 150bikes there and with my tuono three others ,Good to chat with them on there veiws on the tuono,good ride out did 160 miles but bloody cold!! but you have to be carefull tyres never get warm and lots of twitches,but hopefully start of good season
