Great to see an established Mille forum on the net.
I passed my bike test 10 years ago, and had 3 months of fun on a yamaha yzf400, i had some hard times back then and had to sell the bike between jobs.
Finally 10 years later i decided to purchase my 1999 RSV Mille. with only 16,000 miles on the clock and lots of history £1200 UK pounds looked like a bargain
It has a power commander and an akrapovic exhaust (original inc too) and mostly still looks new. Really love the polished frame and swing-arm
I purchased this just two days ago, and apart from adding a new battery, i am loving every bit of it..
I just have a couple questions, i'm sure someone on here will know.
(1) under the rear seat section, there is a long thin bar, its removable and looks just like a car bonnet / hood keep up bar. What is this tool for?
(2) Can the newer RSV Clocks, one with single rev counter and single digital readout be used on my 1999 RSV?
Thank you in advance if you answer these questions.. I'm sure there will be more to come.
Keep safe.
