Hi all..just did a three day 1500km ride to victorian border country on my capo 1200. Good.. sticks to the road like glue, comfortable for a big guy (190cm), Add suspension works a treat and engine likes to rev.. Neutral...screen too small and guzzles fuel and cant filter with panniers also over geared ..100km/h at 3500 rpm. ..BAD...not a thing...THings im gonna do..have ordered top box and puig screen, going up 2 teeth on rear sprocket, fit oxford hand warmers and study the hand book..I love my Capo!!!

You are right..I like the top box and central ventura bag on passenger seat more than the panniers on longer trips..also the panniers dont hold a lot..cheers. (got my replacement exhaust and spot lights today)..jn

G'day ratty one....Capo sure is comfortable! Mine was a tad hard on fuel until I got more km's up. Now I get 330k brisk touring before the fuel light comes on and the trip meter zero's and starts counting km's traveled on reserve ( if I've been flogging around twisties it comes on b4 300k). I guess you are tall enough to be more of a wind sock than me as I'm only a little bugger at 5'10 & 83kg. It's a bitch to fill up properly, as it needs careful trickling to get the tank 'full' without fuel splashing in your face.....however that gives a good 18ltr of go juice to the fuel light, then there should be 4-5 ltr on reserve before walking. I've been getting to 22ltr fills but I'm not game to take the tank off to drain it (ie empty tank, add 1ltr, ride 7k to servo, fill up, add 1/2 ltr to tally and there's the usable fuel capacity). I will need to read 'how to' before I go blundering around under the bonnet. There's a lot of sensors/stuff crammed under there! Cheers.....oh, I'm also pleasantly surprised the OEM Dunflops are 5000k old and looking good....I thought I'd be up for tyres now!

ps I've clocked up 7,400kms and the rear is not quite down to the centre wear indicator. The front Dunlop looks un-used but Im sure it will suddenly wear out just after I put a new rear PR4 190/55 on! Throttle is 'smooth as' now....I easily use 4th on gentle urban cruise, but will quickly head down the box if I need to defend my position in traffic.
