Tuono 2006 R
Picked up the bike last night and of course it was raining:thumbdown: . I had a 2002 Mille R a few years back so kind of knew what to expect but last few bikes have all be been in line fours .

The main thing to say is its bloody beautiful and I love it :inlove, but a few points anyway
1) Id forgot how wonderful a twin sounds even with baffles in
2) Front sprocket has been dropped to 15 but it needs the rear sorting to a 42
3) Cant tell if its on map 2 (devil exhausts fitted ) as it felt a bit lumpy ( could be me !! )
4) Its nice to find a bike that fits a man with the errmmmm fuller figure shall we say:eek:ops
5) The back brake works just fine "¦"¦"¦"¦.. sorry just kidding its poo
6) Head lights are bloody good
7) Id forgotten how much I and now my neighbours hate bike alarms :banghead:banghead
8) The bike clearly has no sense of direction (honest love) , as a short journey of 2 miles home took nearly an hour
9) Bridgestone 016 make me nervous in the wet
10) Did I mention I love it

aboot sums her up loon!

ref point 2 an 3...fittin the 42 wi the 15 will smooth her oot big style, maks the lumps go away.

ref 6) heid lamps are good but they dinnae ken thir drivin oan the other side o the road in the UK and nae Italia. Be prepared tae shine an dazzle!

7) ditch the alarm, mair trouble than thir worth particularly if ye start tae hae battery drainin an startin probs etc.

an finally ref 9) Get yersel a set o Dunnie Sportsmarts, execellent allweather rubber fur the T ...

Couldnt agree more rico on the alarm , ive taken them off in the past , will need to have a good look at this first before i start with the wire cutters !!!!
Ref the dunlops , never tried them but heard lots of good things, they will have to wait until i get more pennys , will sort the chain & sprockets first .

Hi Rawly, there's a few Tuono owners up around this neck of the woods, we'll have to get a meet up sorted and have a tootle out sometime.

I was oot last nicht dodor the first time in the pitch black. The liichts oan the Tuoldo are some of the best I have used. Although there is a weird circle of light thing going oan though.

Pleased you enjoyed the first ride. Sportsmax tyres are good, had them on previos bike - a 636 and loved them. Got corsa 111's on at the mo, but there's so much choice in tyres now don't know what to get next

Very impressed with new Dunlop Roadsmart II spent last 2 days in very wet conditions up to Tamworth and back and nothing took my concentration from the road in regards to tires.

Mate of mine had the first roadsmarts on and got about 5k out of them, found them well sticky, so the II should be even better
