Hi all, not had the chance to get on here in a while for several reasons , the most important the birth of my son Charlie ! A wee lump of perfection :) so I went to the bike last wednesday during unseasonably warm weather in Scotland I had a chance to ride my tuono for he first time , sadly not to be :-( battery was goosed , so a new one ordered and it arrived Friday :) so my self and a mate on his fazer 1000 set of for an 80 mile blast just to blow the cobwebs away ! Man alive this thing is awesomev:) !!! I bought it in February without a test ride having sold my busa and I was a bit unsure I'd made the right move , didn't take long to realise it was the best move I have made in biking for a very long time, very grunts, smooth, fast :) and superb handling !! Cannot wait to get on it again :) Martin

congrats on the birth of Charlie and your first ride on the T
hope mother and child are both well

Big congratulations Fazerman on both your new aquisitions! :)

So... 'upgrading' from a Busa to a Tuono...!

Please tell us what you liked with the Tuono over the Busa when you get a mo, especially re. performance, handling, riding position, etc...

Hi all, ok firstly I loved my busa :) went for a tuono for several reasons, firstly qwith my new son born I wanted to get away from hyper bikes , I also wanted a sit up riding position, was looking for a fazer 1000 but I also fancied the tuono, so glad I went for one !! Performance wise it's a different power delivery to the busa but equally as impressive , huge grunt , and I am surprised at how smooth it is , very comfortable riding position too tho it needs a bigger screen , any recommendations? Was out oday for 177 mile run and it handles superbly , brakes very good too, to be honest I should have bought one years ago :) hugely impressed guys :)

Huge congrats to you and your good lady on the birth of your little boy :)

Secondly congratulations again on getting a Tuono :)

You wouldn't of been disappointed with the fazer 1000 though, it's a great bike and I loved mine....until I binned it at Redgate lol.
Tuono's take a little getting used to but once your there it's such a great ride!

Welcome aboard my friend.

Congratulations, sounds like you are one happy bunny just now with everything that is going on in your life :thumbup

Hi, yes ive had 3 fazer 1000 gen 1 models, superb machine, also had four busas, a ZZR1400 three R1,s a zx10r gen 1 . To name but a few of the machines I've had, I change regularly as you can see :) te tuono I think I,ll have a long time though , only been on it twice but when I get used to it I,m sure it will be an astounding ride , :) thanks for all your good wishes for our new family guys :)

Sounds like good news all round fazer, and cingrats on both counts.
I've also had a Fazer 1000,an 02 model, loved it, but the front got a tad flighty in high speed turns. The T is a class machine and gave me the most smiles per mile of any bike I've had.
Enjoy
