Finally Bonding! Need Noise!

After a few month of ownership and a few mishaps I am finally beginning to get along with the mille. The combinatin of torque and handling is the best I have ever ridden (Ex bikes include R1, GSXR's, TL ect). Really looking forward to summer now.

The mille sounds good (currently standard apart from Leo Vinci Ti end can) but I want more! My TL had a modified airbox and full yoshimura system and it sounded evil, popping and crackling on overrun and giving the odd flame. Most peolple call me immature and juvenile but I loved it and the bike had quite a reputation.

My question is this..... How can I best modify my bike to achieve a nastier noise! I am planning a renegade air box, any more suggestion to make it go snap, crackle and pop!

One last thing, I have a new set of sprockets which came with the bike 16/42. Will this be too severe? is anyone running this setup, most people from what I can gather go 16/44.

Cheers, Paul

Welcome fella.. rene is what you need if you want noise :thumbup as for snap crackle and pop i dont know other than a supercharger :thumbup

Paul, a 16 tooth front is only one less than the standard 17 tooth. Try it first it makes a big difference to the rideability of the bike. Then go 2 teeth up over standard to a 44 tooth rear and a 110 link chain and it smiles per miles all the way fella :thumbup
