Pretty sure you can do it on the handlebar switch.Turn the trip switch to 'mode' and enter the menu.Toggle through untill you find 'diagnosis'.Select this and you will be asked for a code.Enter 13432 and yer in.You will then find the ecu diagnosis and instument panel errors.The fault codes are all in the workshop manual.There is a link on this site somewhere where you can download a copy.

Start your bike and let the service light come on.
Turn bike off with kill button not key as it will erase the memory.
Look through the dash diagnostics function to see if there is an error code to point you in the right direction.
Enter code 13432 and look under ECU Diagnostics for a P-code and A-code number.
The important thing is don't turn the ignition off with the key or the problem goes away until you run the bike again.
Check the thumbnails for code to see what is wrong.

today we put in 13432 code, went into ecu diagnostics, it displayed "P"---- and "A"--
Now, bearing in mind it doesn't run, when we turned her over on the starter for a few seconds, up popped 0344 and 11..and in small writing "cam sensor" !!
Without wishing to count my chickens, i think we've cracked it. Gonna order a new one and keep everything crossed that when we fit it she'll fire up..
May seem obvious to some of you clever *******s out there, but i'm putting all this up here just in case, one day it may help somebody who is as technically challenged as i am. Here's hoping...

:dunno Are there any nerds out there who can supply a summary of text accronymns FFS I havent GAC & TBH BTW ICGA ****. IMHO a little dictionary would be a GI.
