famsa tank bag

hi,
can anyone give me some advice; I bought a used famsa tank bag for my 2006 tuono. Where is the best place to attach the front strap, so as not to foul the movement of the steering?

i have an oxford tank bag , its the top of a big oxford tail pack that ive modified to suit .
it fits with a strap on base with a long strap that fits right under the head stock . threaded between the wiring harness and the head stock on the off side and between the clutch line and the head stock on the near side .
have not used this in anger yet but it appears not to foul any thing and doesnt affect the steering .
the webbing strap is about 2 feet long and was salvaged from my works vehicle that was scrapped last week . !!
