Hi. I have a Falco with 14.5k but no service history. It ran fine after buying for about 300 miles noe it vibrates at exactly 5.5k in every gear and I can hear a vibrating metallic noise, not sure from where. The clutch is noisey when engaged, usual whirring choppy noise. I took it to my local Aprilia mexhanic who said the engine sounded ok but didnt have time to ride the bike. Going to Spain in July so any suggestions on what to look at would be much appreciated. Previous owner said he changed a cam chain tensioner a while back and a spring in the sprag.

Where in the engine is the noise....flywheel side? Or from the tensioners? Maybe use the old screwdriver trick to pick up where the sound is coming from

Fill it up...run it / ride it see if it's losing water / holding temperature... Make sure the fans are cutting in and out as well
