falco performance chips

Anyone out there know if the chips for the falco just bring the bike upto mille spec or not . I was just browsing the net and came across them , they are old stock from a ex Aprilia dealer and they wanted to get rid of them.
 
theres only one guy to go to for a chip for a falco mate

Dr rossi is the man who makes the best chips for the falco ...no question! is registered on here mate no worries!!

I think the Falco has different can timing & put out 118HP at the crank compare to the 133HP of the RSV's ... Bigger header exhaust system helps alot & a FactoryPro / Grabo performance Eprom are well proven & have their ignition timing advanceded alot to further improve the power delevery .
DR Rossi's eproms are another excellent choice have tryed & use them with different tunes I use for Drag racing etc , as well I have sent him my own maps to him to play with & burn onto a Eprom which produced big power & would recommend you ask him about this particular set of tune if he was able to do some more onto Eprom's .
 
I've already pm'd Dr rossi about getting a chip for my rsv but I'd seen these and given the price ( 15.00 ) , thought I'd give it a go but now Knowing the falco is detuned , the result probably wont be that great if any . Will get more info when it turns up , the shops only 40 mins away so I can go down and see them . The shop is Raceways in Fleetwod and all I know they used to be an aprilia dealer some years ago and currently run their own race team , have done for some time and are pretty good at tuning .
 
Only change the fuel tables though opening the PCIII programe & changing the table numbers & leave the timing alone as I have over 12 different performance eproms with different ignition timing so use particular eproms for my many different setup depending on what the bike is been used to do .... Getting the ignition timing wrong can have costly damage done to your motor so leave that with thoughs that know , have heard from a customer about a Tuono that had a unknown eprom put in which was suppose to have had the timing advanced **** loads & when the bike was started the motor kicked back & destroyed the sprag clutch out of the side of the bike . As above get a well proven Eprom with a good ignition timing then you can fine tune the fueling though PCIII / V -Tuneboy etc & use a adjustable fuel regulator which I use , Plus find someone that actually knows how to Dyno tune bikes
 
I know I am changing the subject slightly, but still inline with the original topic, is it possible to replace the headers on a Falco with that from an RSV ? That with Dr Rossi chip, free-er flowing exhausts and a little Griff magic .... maybe some airbox work too .... should release more of the beast ?
 
Just to close this thread , unfortunately the falco evolution chip is not compatible with my rsv . The engines are different in a few places so even though the bike would run , The shop where I got it from said I would not see any gains . Well on to ebay it goes then , bugger .
 
Dont listen to anybody else, the only man you need to talk to is Dr Rossi(he know's more about chip's than Harry Ramsdens).

I wil get one from Alain soon , just need to recover from the expense of christmas . Shame about the falco chip though .

mille pipe work fits..but you need to modify front oilpipe and change to mille oil tank

Hi there , although my thread is an old one you have reminded me about the chip I'd bought as I sold the mille and now have a falco
