Falco low rev fuelling issue - can anyone help?

Hi there, new to my 2001 Falco. Got Aprilia carbon cans, Mille swingarm, derestricted (wire and airbox) and a Dr Rossi chip. (tried a Forza chip but a bit savage and pricey on fuel for my 100 mile daily commute). Dr Rossi chip much more even but only thing is that at 3500 - 4000 rpm when opening the throttle partially after slowing down on a closed throttle, or trying to hold part throttle at those revs (awkward in slow corners) it either sputters slightl or won't quite hold the revs smoothly. I've got the bypass screws at 2.5 on the front and 1.25 at the rear in line with the instructions with the chip, and the two screws on the box are at 12 o'clock. Anyone else got a Falco with similar chip/pipes who could recommend some other settings on the bypass screws? Idle screw is all the way unscrewed.
Cheers
Simon
