Ebay ad says their panel will NOT fit a later model. I can't see any difference in the shape of teh panel or the vent (as teh seller says there is).

HELP!!!???? :dunno

EDIT - mine has a hole cut to enable fitment of the crash bung....

Later, 2001 onwards side panels had the separate 'air puller' but they will all fit 98-03 RSV's

Actually..... Do I shell out the £150 for teh panel, or get mine repaired / painted? I suspect that the crack will just lengthen....?
 
drill a hole at the end of the crack to stop it spreading ,(a wee hole)
 
dude let me double check might have a spare one only problem it would be silver just have to make sure its the side you want

See, now STOP doing that!!! ;) P!ss. Now ANOTHER decision to make! Mind, a nice one! :) Is it good condition, mate, please? As I'll have to have it painted, just not cracks! :) I'll get a paint quote from a local firm too. Thanks again!

In fact.... Lets face it - its NOT going to cost £150 for a spray job, and I can do teh prep myself - even I'm not that crap!!! ;)

what year is ur bike mate i got a yellow seat cowl i bought but wrong one for my bike can stick that in too if u aint got one its just sat in my loft gathering dust
will find out what year its off
 
Mines an 02! :) You're a bloody hero! In fact, I got a "spare" yellow one too - cos I got a black painted carbon one on it, soooo, stick it on ebay or summat, mate! ;) I don't want to take if I'm not going to put it to use ;)
 
right dude got panel out of loft... now it is the side you need but its off an 03 model so its not the full side fairing....can take a pic and let u see if u still want it
