I'll be replacing my clutch slave over the winter. My bike still has the original and apparently they are all prone to leak. General consensus seems to be replacement unit is better than new seals. I don't do a lot of mileage so not looking to spend big. Looking at the factory racing cylinder has anyone fitted this and is it a good product. Oberon seems to have positive reviews has anyone used both. I'm sure this has Been covered before so apologies if your going over old ground.

I have an Oberon one on my KTM , no issues whatsoever , a nice piece of kit
It's only 40 quid or so dearer and made in the uk
I've seen the other ones but have no experience of them , do think I need one for the Mille tho
Let us know your findings please
Mike

Redratbike mpl is just to expensive have to balance family finances and bike and can't justify that expense with the amount of milage I do.

Mike I'll let you know. Probably fit in the new year just before service and MOT time.

I have a factory racing one, fitted earlier this year. NO problems so far and clutch lever is much easier.

Cheers alwaduck. How easy is this to fit? Is it just unbolt the old one bolt the new one in and bleed the clutch? Has the bigger piston caused any problems with clutch drag?

Dead easy to fit just unbolt one and fit the other one, then bleed clutch which can be a right pain and take ages but follow some of the info on here or over on rsvr. net and it's pretty easy really. Didn't suffer any clutch drag but it's easy enough to adjust the clutch action using the adjutable lever and fiddling with the push ros into the master cylinder.
Hope this helps :thumbup

I rate the oberon unit had it on for four years with no problems. Never had to bleed other on a fluid change very nice bit of kit for the money and a UK company, easy to fit even for me!!

+1 for the Factory Racing unit. Seems like a good quality piece of kit and a piece of p*ss to fit.
Had it on a couple of years now and absolutely no issues.

Having had a leak thro the cylinder, Ordered and Just received replacement cylinder for my Mille.
Got if from Gas Cap Dude in America, came in at the equivalent of £50 delivered, still to fit, hopefully it'll do the jobView attachment 6357View attachment 6358
