Hi,

I got a guy asking £400.00 for genuine carbon factory belly pan (the long one) what's your thoughts ?

They are quite rare , but £400 seems a lot of cash , its not like is gonna make any difference performance wise .
that sort of money would by some asv levers and AP rear sets . unless you have already got them .

considering a new one will cost over £700 then its not too bad - and they are like hens teeth.
but £400 for a bit of bling is a tad excessive imo

Full rrp is around £600!!
FWIW,...I paid £250 for mine.It was brand new,in the box but the r/h decal was slightly damaged so the shop sold it as a second.

It is a lot for bling but looks good. I know you can get copy ones on Internet for around £200 . Could always sell it in the future I suppose when & if the V4 arrives

That's a lot of cash for a very minor cosmetic change, only people who know the bike are going to notice.
I personally would be looking for improvements to the bike, however if you've done all that..........bling away.

There's a Greek company (Aramid I think?) that does fairly decent copies at a fraction of the cost.
Going price for a decent OE Aprilia one, is about £250. ISTR I paid about £200 for mine.

A new one sold on trademe (New Zealand version of ebay) a month or so ago, sold for 117 pounds which I thought was expensive enough, probably should have purchased it looking at the prices others on here have paid.
