Hi
Anyone know how much the 08 Factory belly pan costs - I've been searching on a few Aprilia parts sites but can't seem to find mention of it.

Looks much better than the std R and thinking of fitting one to my 08 T

Cheers

I have seen them on the AF1 Racing shop site but thats over the pond. Think it was $600 plus there are some fixings required and thats without decals or shipping. Speedaway has a parts section on its website but only lists the R bellypan. I have a Factory and can vouch its a quality bit of kit. At a guess i reckon you'll be looking at £400 quid plus over here. You could ring your local dealer and ask?

Here is the AF1 listing of the carbon fiber belly pan and, yes, you will need to order some small parts which are outlined on the site. They come up on ebay on occasion, but, for the expense, why take a chance? There has been some mention on another thread within the last two months of someone on your side of the pond getting into carbon fiber production for the T., so search that out as a possibility at your leisure. All the best . . .

aw rite happy, ive been searching the net in vain tryin to get one for ma 06t as there miles better, but had no joy, occasionally they come up on e the bay and go for around 250-300, was kicking ma sel a couple weeks back as there was a carbon factory pan, hugger and mudgaurd went for 250 in a job lot and a bid 246 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh
let me know if you find any
seany

Did find a company doing a carbon version of the STD belly pan, can't remember the web site, it was cheaper than the factory one.

RSV.NET sold very nice deep carbon ones but there not trading at the moment, they were a pretty good price if i remember, its the one i would go for if i had to replace my factory bellypan,i dont know the make but probably somone will be along shortly:yes:cheers

amec are doing carbon stuff for bikes, but their fairly new so only making parts to order, if someone sends them one for a mould theyll get it cheaper an once they have the mould they can then produce them, i met them at the bike show in march and their stuffs pretty good, but they havent manufactured a belly pan yet :-(

If you guys get hold of some nice carbony bits, there's an AF1 member (CKruzel) who does some nice graphic work for members there. I'm sure you could source decals that way.

The CF stuff looks great. Love it.
But the prices are insane! :crazy

Absolutely:banghead

There are 'bargains' which appear on fleabay now and then, but Caveat Emptor. Some of these lay-ups are decidedly poor. It's hard to distinguish the really good stuff from ordinary crap online.:dunno

If I were to but c/f anything, I'd be tempted by some of the stuff at AF1, for example. They have rear huggers and front guards for US$200ea.

Thanks to all of you for replying - looks like I'm gonna have to save up a bit then!!

Yes, I enquired at my dealer the other day and it is £642 plus the dreaded VAT to add on so around £738 This seems a bit steep to me, so will not bother for now. Any parts from Aprilia where the word Factory comes into play seem to attract lunatic pricing !

My bike has the CF hugger and the 2 front scoops from AF1.
Based on the receipts in the extra boxes of stuff the PO gave me. Very nice stuff. :cheers

It's just too bad the other couple pieces were back ordered and I guess got canceled since they're not on the bike. :rolleyes

How come Euro blokes have to go to the States for Euro tackle? How mads that. Af1 is a fantastic set up and you hear nothing but rave reviews about the service. How did they start up ?
Its a good job they did though in it, Aprilia have always been a tad shabby on the aftersales :thumbdown
