exhausts or shock survey

All this talk of rear shocks got me thinking. I could sell my cans put the standard ones back on and buy a used better quality shock. But i like the extra noise and look of the aftermarket cans.
Doing both is not an option right now, so which way would you go?
 
Sell the cans and buy a decent shock = a better handling bike that doesn't look or sound as good.

Your call. If it was me I'd keep the cans, buy a new shock on plastic, and worry about it when the bill came through :thumbup
 
I would keep the cans for sure. For me the sound of the bike is a big part of the pleasure of ownership :love
 
Stop it u lot. Even though I've blown a grand on god knows what on plastic recently, I'm really hankering after some cans.

Or can rather. **** I'm a bit pissed. With the boys poker night. They are having a *** break & I don't smoke!
 
Stix - have a look on fleabay, IIRC there's a few decent cans for Tuoldos on there at the mo, and well cheaper than buying new :thumbup
 
What about the can I bought gilo. Sounds ok for quite cheap huh. Heard u revving it as u dropped down the box and u were behind me. 1st time I've ever heard a bike behind me
 
Stix look at mtc exhausts but don't order off eBay. Phone up and get the shorter can. I like it and it's brand new. Quality excellent
 
It doesn't matter what cans or shocks you have if you don't get the ******* thing out the utility room ... up the "muddy drive" and ride the ****.

I posted one on here ages ago mate saying new exhaust. If u can't find it I'll email it to you fella.

Think I'll have to wait until my birthday in May though. By then I'll hopefully have heard it after our meet and can decide whether I like the sound :thumbup

Well he said much shorter and it might fail mot. It's got a nice sound to it and if u really wanted I'm sure they'd cut it shorter. Saying that gilo rode it and followed me and I could hear him behind me

STIX min, next week at yer poker night when the dudes are oot haein a snout, tak a deek at the cairds and git thim "sorted" if ye ken whit ah mean.;) Then ye will hae awe the dosh ye need tae clear yer plastic and buy yon goodies ye want. Mind an dinna **** up tho or ye might end up wi a horses heid in yer bed instead :uhoh
