Exhaust Pipe

Hi everyone, I am a new member and have purchase my Caponord Touring earlier in the year. I want to put a pipe on the bike, but not keen for the Arrow. I am interested on putting a SC Project pipe on. I have read and been told by my dealer not to put any other
pipe on except an Arrow. I have seen SC Project pipes on the Caponord on YouTube and it sounds great. They tell me its some kind of warning sensor that comes on. Is this true and if so can it be rectified.

They may have been referring to the Oxygen sensors that often need to be disconnected to get the fuelling correct. This will probably flag up a warning.

I have a SC Project on mine and it is Brilliant! You just need to install a Healtech dongle that tells the ECU that the exhaust valve has been removed. With that on, it works like a charm. I also installed two fatducs for fuel tuning and a DNA filter for more air. After 2500 miles it is trouble free and REALLY wakes up. Much more like my old Dorsoduro 1200 now. The roar from the SC pipe is fantastic and fitting for a performance italian machine. Bike runs much cooler now too. I wrapped the exhaust pipe going to the SC with fiberglass tape to keep my boot from melting as the stock heat guard does not go back on. do it, you won't regret it.
