I've recently found that the "middle collector" on my 2004 RSV is seriously cracked (through the twisty~snakey rear pipe) and needs replacing. I'm finding that the 2006/07 collector is significantly cheaper than the 2004/05 part. But could they be that much different - after all the engine and frame are pretty much the same, aren't they? Has anyone tried fitting the later part? Just curious. Ta

You're so close I can pop over to you after work and compare them. Only snag is I've placed an order for a new set now (got impatient to get things moving, and have had login issues when not at home) and am loathe to p*** off the parts dealer but happy to make the saving. Mmmm

I know, which is why I've just called him, confirmed the order is happening, and will get a shiny new one. Just not in me to cancel, it's hard enough running a business. Thanks for your offer though, and that'll teach me to get the IT stuff sorted sooner. Happy riding.
